What types of Asana styles are instructed at Lalitha Yoga Academy?
At Lalitha Yoga Academy, we offer a range of Asana styles, primarily focusing on Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga. Hatha Yoga, known for its traditional and ancient approach to Asana practice, is complemented by our Ashtanga sessions featuring a series of Asanas with Vinyasa flow. Furthermore, we provide classes on Adjustment and Alignment to help you grasp the correct positioning of Asanas and how to tailor them to various body types.
What experience instructors carry?
At Lalitha Yoga Academy, our teaching team consists of highly qualified and knowledgeable educators. All of our teachers hold the title of “Yoga Acharya” and a master’s degree in their field, meaning they have between 8 and 20 years of valuable teaching experience.
Can I be assigned a shared room with someone of the same gender?
We allocate shared rooms based on gender. While the residential area is communal, the rooms themselves are segregated for men and women.
Are the school and its courses registered or affiliated with recognized organizations or government institutions?
Yes, our school is registered and recognized by the following government bodies and institutions: US Yoga Alliance (internationally recognized)
Where can I check seat availability?
We update seat availability on our website in real time. If you see an active Register button next to your selection, you can continue the registration process to secure your spot.
Is the registration fees separate from the course fees?
No, the registration fee is included in the total price of the course. For example, the fee for a 200-hour YTTC course 1,250 euros. To reserve a seat, start registration by paying 300 EUR. The remaining amount of 950 EUR can be paid upon arrival.
Can I get a discount on the course price
Our goal is to provide all of our Lalitha Yoga Academy students with the best possible experience, and we believe that an enriching yoga journey is more valuable than any discount. The fee structure remains fixed and consistent for each student.
What should I bring for the training?
Students must wear comfortable clothing that is particularly suitable for Asana classes. For dress code information, please see our Code of Conduct. Yoga mats and all other accessories needed for training are available in our Yoga Shala.
